Clean Pipes for Pure Water

to ensure the long-term quality of our drinking water, SWO Netz GmbH — a wholly-owned subsidiary of Stadtwerke Osnabrück AG — will be flushing the water mains in your street. This process cleans the pipeline network of mineral deposits that could cause water cloudiness or impair water quality. Network flushing is carried out regularly throughout the city area by our partner, Pohl and Timm, Waterworks and Pipeline Service.

Please observe the following points during the flushing process to avoid affecting your water installations:

• Do not draw water from the house installation. This means:
• Keep the taps closed.
• Do not use the toilet flush, dishwasher, or washing machine.
• Please keep a sufficient water supply for your personal needs for the duration of the flushing process.

Please run the water for a while afterward to eliminate any possible residual cloudiness. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

After the network flushing, the water will be available to you again without restrictions and in the usual quality.

The flushing processes do not require any work by employees of the executing specialty company in the houses. Employees of Stadtwerke Osnabrück AG or SWO Netz GmbH usually do not need access to the buildings. However, if workers on behalf of Stadtwerke or SWO Netz GmbH request entry, they can always provide identification!

By the way, SWO Netz GmbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of Stadtwerke Osnabrück and is responsible for the planning, construction, and operation of infrastructure networks in the city area. This includes the sectors of electricity, gas, water, wastewater, telecommunications, and street lighting.
